Instructor's Profile

I have been teaching/coaching pupils as a Driving Instructor for over 12 years with KISS Driving School. I specialise in nervous pupils as my “keep it simple” techniques in coaching means the pupil will soon relax and the learning process flows in a calm teaching environment. I also offer Pass Plus courses plus advanced driving techniques and driving instructor training. I find my work most rewarding, especially the smile on the face of my learners when they pass their test is great job satisfaction.

I’d just like to say having Rob as my instructor has changed my whole life. At first I was very nervous and had anxieties but he has given me the confidence and instilled belief in myself that everything is possible when you have the right mindset. Rob was calm, encouraging, and patient the entire time. He made every single lesson enjoyable and has taught me so much in such a short period of time. Just passed today! Having lessons for nearly 2 years because I was very nervous at the start, Rob has helped me a lot! He is very knowledgeable and knows how to teach someone to drive properly. I was really struggling to overcome such a mental block when it came to driving. Rob helped me learn to overcome this and get out on the road again and be a confident driver. He was flexible and understanding when I was having bad days and made adjustments to the day as necessary which really helped me. He made such an effort to come all the way out to my small village everyday to do the intensive course - I couldn't even find a local driver who would do the same! I'm grateful I could find someone who could help me and would highly recommend KISS for driving lessons and helping you get your licence.
