Learning to drive is, for some, a little scary so choosing the right instructor is important. As a qualified Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) I need to be patient, calm and encouraging, the result will create a pleasant learning environment so that even making mistakes, which will always happen during the learning process, will be used as a positive learning tool. My teaching method is more coaching than teaching, by working with you I'll encourage you to think about what you have been taught, encouraging independent driving and thereby building your self-confidence but most importantly, because this method is a quicker way to learn you will spend less overall. If you're an anxious, nervous person feeling overwhelmed by the thought of driving you will do well with my client centred easy going approach learning at your pace. If, however, you're a confident, self-assured person you too will benefit from the freedom to learn as fast as you're able.
The key to everything is patience. As Arnold Glasow, the American humourist puts it, You get the chicken by hatching the egg, not by smashing it open.
